You're invited to the SAHBA Symposium
Once again Sanet & Johan Riekert will be keynote speakers at the SAHBA Symposium in Sandton on Fri 6 - 8 November. Medicine trains you to treat patients, The SAHBA Symposium trains you to build the career and the life you actually want.
The SAHBA Symposium is a high-impact, 3-day immersive event for South African clinicians who are ready to move from uncertainty to clarity and from overwhelm to a plan they can execute.
Whether you’re:
preparing to start or join private practice,
looking to grow and optimise an existing practice, or
exploring non-traditional roles, leadership, business or entrepreneurship,
This is where you gain the tools, strategy and network to move forward with confidence.
Why the Symposium exists
Healthcare is changing fast financially, operationally, and professionally. And yet, the most important skills for career freedom are often the least taught. The SAHBA Symposium exists to close that gap, covering the real-world fundamentals doctors need to thrive.
What makes it different
This is not a passive conference.
It’s an annual curated learning journey combining:
2–3 powerful plenaries each day (big ideas, future focus, career clarity)
90-minute practical workshops that repeat across the Symposium, so you can build your own path
Curated networking and community experiences designed to connect you with the right people
You won’t just leave inspired; you’ll leave with decisions made, tools in hand, and momentum built.
