Thank You for an Unforgettable Experience
On April 16th, the prestigious Blair Atholl Golf & Equestrian Estate in Pretoria set the stage for the much-anticipated APS Africa Annual Golf Day, an exclusive gathering designed to bring together South Africa’s medical professionals for a day of relaxation, professional growth, and meaningful connection.
At APS Africa, we recognise the everyday demands you face, balancing clinical expertise and financial stewardship. Our annual golf day is crafted not merely as a leisure event, but as a vital opportunity for you to network with industry leaders, share insights, and strengthen relationships within the healthcare sector.
Thank you to each player who joined us. Your engagement transformed the event from a simple gathering into a vibrant exchange of expertise, camaraderie, and celebration. It was inspiring to see our community come together, each player contributing to an atmosphere of learning and laughter, both on and off the fairways.
We extend a special thanks to our partners at Investec, and Xero. Your unwavering support and contributions were integral to the success of this event. Together, we continue to build solutions that address the unique challenges medical professionals encounter.
Event Highlights
Shotgun Start: The day began with an energising shotgun start, as participants took to Blair Atholl’s immaculate fairways. The spirit of friendly competition made for a memorable morning, setting the tone for networking and collaboration.
CPD Session: After golf, delegates refreshed their professional knowledge with a CPD-accredited session. Bradley Rudy (Medicai) explored efficient clinical workflows for private practice, while Dr Roelof Botha delivered invaluable insights into the current South African economic landscape.
Wine Tasting: Connoisseur David Sadie guided us through a curated wine tasting, an ideal setting to unwind, share experiences, and deepen connections.
Dinner & Prize Giving: The evening concluded with an exquisite three-course dinner and prize-giving ceremony, honouring outstanding performances and celebrating the collective achievements of our medical community.
Making a Difference Together
Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised R17,400 in support of the next generation. This contribution will be fully donated to the JuniorTukkie programme at the University of Pretoria, empowering aspiring medical professionals.
The APS Africa Annual Golf Day is more than a calendar event, it is a reflection of the values we share: excellence, integrity, and community. Your participation ensures that our commitment to financial empowerment and professional development remains unwavering. We look forward to continuing this journey with you on and off the course.
